Aquarium Plastic Plants
A wonderful finishing touch to any fish tank is aquarium plastic plants. After all, what self-respecting ocean would be sans foliage. There is all kinds of seaweed and vines delicately waving back and forth in the water. Why wouldn't there be in yours? It tends to complete the scene. Perhaps for the fish as well, if we can presume that they think on some level. But definitely for the human viewer looking in. Ornaments are great eye candy, but shrubbery is what fills the dead space between them in. After all, if everything was so captivating and drew the eye in, then nothing would really stand out at all. And what fun is that for your more intricate additions?

I tend to use aquarium plastic plants to fill in dead space. The kind that is dead when there's something there in it, but would be very conspicuous if there were absolutely nothing there. The bad kind of space that draws you to it and then proceeds to disappoint you when there's nothng to look at once you're there.
But aside form that, aquarium plastic plants can be decorative in their own right. They can be set-up poorly or well, like anything else that there is. Overused and the tank is too busy. Underused and it is too empty. Like decorating your own home, it's a delicate operation. But it should be, after all. It is the home of your beloved fish.
It is also part of your own décor whe you think about it. Your fish tank is part of your home. So, making it look nice by adding things like aquarium plastic plants makes your home look nice by default. The tank can truly be turned into a conversation piece and work of art all on its own with just a little effort as it is set up.
Personally, I take the creation very seriously. But it is a hobby that I love, so it isn't work to do this. Like anything else, the results that I expect to get out of it depends a lot on what I have put in. i know this and work with it in mind. I have a game plan going in. I don't just throw things in there randomly and hope everything works out for the best. I know what ornaments, what kind of fish, and how many aquarium plastic plants I need before the first piece is put into place.
I find that all it takes is planning. This applies to many things in life. A good plan is the first essential step. Acting blindly only has good results by luck. Once the plan is laid out, it’s just a matter of deciding what you need to get, then bringing the vision to life. I imagine that it's much like a painter or sculpter must work. But while they have their mediums, I have mine, and you have yours. We create art with water, ornaments, and aquarium plastic plants. How unique is that.
